All in all, I can't recommend this bowl enough especially if you plan to display your mixer. One of the best things about the KA 3.5 mixer is that it is small enough to keep on display so why not sell pretty bowls to coordinate with it. I love this bowl and just wish KA sold the pretty speciality bowls they offer in the 5 quart. The glass bowl is not only more attractive than the stainless, you can also see if any ingredients are stuck in the bottom of the bowl which is an issue with this mixer in both bowls. I am very careful to make sure both the bowl and the head are in a locked position. So months later I find myself using the glass bowl more than reaching for the stainless in storage. I was careful and lo and behold, I had not problems. So the first time I used the bowl I was in a pinch, with the stainless one already used. If you fail to make sure to lock the bowl into place it will rock and if one also neglected to lock the head I am sure the two factors could equal a catastrophic break. I am glad I waited until I really knew the mixer. I paid an artist well over 2k to paint my mini KA and no way was I displaying it with that ugly stainless bowl. When I did I figured I would just use it for display. Make sure you have or purchase accessories compatible with your bowl.Surprisingly Good I read a few negative reviews about this bowl shattering but I still bought it.
